Most churches use Summer XP as a VBS, but it’s also designed to be used as an 8-week long summer series or to create your very own camp! 

VBS

A five-day event that blends a traditional VBS with dynamic Orange content designed around our philosophy of partnering with parents. Included are parenting resources for your VBS, along with a Family Experience to celebrate at the end of the week.  Also included is media that allows you to present sketches and Bible story videos, or use scripts to perform them live. Features include snack, craft and game ideas, plus activities to help kids build their faith skills. 

Summer Series

This eight-week series helps you create a maximum Sunday-morning experience with minimal effort. Longer main sessions and smaller group activities fit a Sunday-morning schedule. And video content allows you to present high-quality programming with a smaller volunteer team. 

Camp

Go all out without going for broke. This session will help you create your very own Camp KidJam-style extravaganza.

Leading Small

We believe that real life change doesn’t take place in rows, but in circles. Small groups help kids discuss what they’ve learned, share their experiences, and connect with each other and their leader. 

Partnering with Parents

We see a child’s growth through orange-colored glasses, where influences are combined to fuel faith. Which means parents become partners in children’s ministry. So we’ve included Parent CUE Cards to spark conversation in and extend learning into the home. There’s also a new Social Media Kit so you’ll have Tweets, Facebook messages and emails ready to go the week of your program. And if that isn’t enough, we’ve adding podcasts that you can share with your parents to further engage them.
