Every kid loves a good story, whether it’s a book, a movie, or a video game. So get your kids excited about the most incredible true story of all - God’s loving pursuit of us through time.

The Turn It Up Summer XP is a five-day VBS that takes a journey through the Bible, giving kids context for God’s Big Story. Help kids discover how they can be a part of the story when they turn up the power of God’s love in their life.

Your Elementary and Preschool children will experience these stories:

• Creation and The Flood (Genesis 1; 3:1-24; 6:5-8)
• God’s Promise to Abraham (Genesis 12:1-7; 15:1-6; 13-14; 22:1-15)
• The Israelites Grumble (Exodus 6:2-8; 16:2-3; 17:3; Numbers 14:2-4; I Samuel 8:1-22)
• Jesus Birth, Life and Death (The Gospels)
• Easter/The Road to Emmaus (Luke 24:13-35)
• *The Mission (Matthew 28:16-20; Acts 1:4-11)

Jesus Christ is the Light of the World. And in every person’s journey of faith, we continually move from darkness to light.

Chase The Light takes a look at people from the Bible whose lives were forever changed when they met Jesus. Yet these people weren’t exactly normal. Instead they were society’s misfits. We’ve dubbed them “The Misfit Brigade,” a motley crew if ever there was one.

John the Baptist. The wise men. Nicodemus. The blind man. Mary Magdalene. The disciples. People from all walks of life who had only one thing in common: They encountered the light. And they were never the same.

The Summer Series is an eight-week series designed to give you a great Sunday morning experience for your kids with a limited number of volunteers. We’ve included shorter Small Group activities and longer Large Group time. The Storyteller and Drama segments are on video (DVD and QuickTime), which allows you to have a quality program with a smaller team of volunteers. Or, if you have a large team, scripts are provided so that you can perform the Drama and/or Storyteller segments live.
The VBS version is a five-day event with the option of using videos or performing the Drama and Storyteller segments live. The five stories used in the VBS are marked above with a (*). Included is a sixth session that you can use as a Family Experience to wrap up your week of VBS. It also has ideas for crafts, snacks, games and activities for your kids to build their faith skills.

Our relationship with God is all about faith. But faith requires a risk. We believe in a God we cannot see, and trust that He will take care of us, no matter what we can see.

Faith is all about motion. It’s not static, or something that remains stagnant. Faith is always growing, always moving forward. And for our faith to really grow, we can’t just stand still. We have to jump.

The story of Paul is one of faith willing to risk everything for God. We jump right into the middle of Paul’s journeys to watch his radical faith unfold. From his experience meeting Jesus on the road to Damascus, to shipwrecks, to jailbreaks, to courtroom drama, we find a man who was never content to rest on his faith, but was compelled to jump into the amazing life God had in store for him.
